Meet the Team

The company—and the people—behind the custom doors

Built by People Who Still Love the Work
We believe that making something well, and making it belong, is a form of respect.

We’re not a factory. We’re a team of builders, woodworkers, and problem-solvers who take pride in getting things right.

In our shop, every door passes through real hands: the kind that still match grain by eye, sand by feel, and measure twice just to be sure.

Some of us learned on farms, others in furniture shops or design studios, but we’re all here for the same reason: to build something that lasts and leaves a legacy.

For us, doing it right means caring about every step — from the first sketch to the final moment your door closes with that solid, quiet sound that tells you it’s built to last.

Every door we ship carries our name, and our word.

A Team of Makers, Thinkers, and Problem-Solvers

Ask anyone here what keeps them doing this work, and you’ll hear the same thing: the joy of solving problems with their hands.

A unique grain becomes a challenge to match. A historic profile becomes a puzzle to solve piece by piece. Every day brings something new to figure out, and that’s what makes our job meaningful.

As Baxter, who translates every customer’s vision into precise shop drawings, puts it: “The journey matters as much as the result.”

Hudson, who keeps every project — and every person — moving in rhythm, calls it faithfulness: “doing every task like it’s a gift to others.”

And Mike, who leads the final inspection before every door leaves the shop, says it best:  “If I wouldn’t hang it in my house, it doesn’t leave the shop.”

Meet the People Behind the Doors
When you choose a Vintage Door, you’re not just buying a product. You’re choosing the hands, minds, and standards behind it. Every one of us stands behind what we build because every one of us has touched it.

Baxter

Door Draftsman

He’s the one who turns your ideas into the drawings that guide the shop. Every line, every measurement, is where precision begins.

Hudson

Operations & Team Coordination

Hudson keeps every project — and every person — moving in rhythm. He balances planning and people, making sure each step runs as smoothly as the doors themselves.

Mike

Final Inspection & Shipping

Mike is the last set of hands before a door leaves the shop. He checks every edge, joint, and pane of glass — sanding, cleaning, and tightening until it’s perfect.

Jason

Shop Foreman & Master Craftsman

A man of few words and steady talent, Jason oversees the rhythm of the shop floor. His eye for proportion and feel for wood set the tone for the whole team.

Jose

Wood Selection & Milling

Jose begins every door at its source: the raw lumber. He studies each board for grain, character, and strength — trusting instinct and experience from years spent working the land.

Jonathan

Manufacturing Engineer

Jonathan bridges tradition and technology. His CAD and CNC work ensures every custom curve, panel, and detail fits exactly as designed.

Rectangle 18

Dan

Door Builder, Interior & Exterior

Dan’s built nearly everything that passes through the shop, from curved-top entries to solid wood interior doors. He loves a challenge and takes pride in each finished piece.

Rectangle 18

Marcus

Screen & Storm Door Finishing

Marcus adds the final touches — screens, glass, and moulding — to make each door ready for weather and time.

Rectangle 18

Liam

Finishing & Priming Department

Liam’s focus is surface perfection — the sanding, smoothing, and finishing that turn solid wood into something you can’t help but touch.

Rectangle 18

Chris

Craftsman, Door Builder

Chris builds and assembles both screen and storm doors, one at a time. His patience and eye for proportion make the difference you can see — and hear — every time the door closes.
